Patient ResponsibilitiesAs a patient here, you have certain responsibilities.
Patients are responsible for their actions if they refuse treatment or do not follow their health care practitioner's instructions. Other responsibilities include:

Provide accurate and complete information to your physician or other caregivers about present complaints, past illnesses, hospitalization, medications, and other matters relating to your health.

Report perceived risks in your care and unexpected changes in your condition.

Ask questions when you do not understand your care, treatment, and service or what you are expected to do.

Follow the care, treatment, and service plan developed and express any concerns about your ability to follow the proposed care plan or course of care, treatment, and services.

Accept the consequences of any decisions you make to not follow the care, treatment, and service plan.

Assure that the financial obligations of your care are fulfilled promptly.

Follow applicable hospital rules and regulations.

Show the same respect and consideration of other patients and their property and the hospital's staff and property that you would expect to receive yourself.
